Duffy Role Model Assembly

                              Duffy Role Model

On Monday the 18th of September 2017, Glenbrae school had a Duffy Role Model Assembly.

First we went down to the Glenbrae school Hall and when all classes got to the hall after three minutes, it was pin drop Silence. When everyone was quiet and ready to listen. Our student leaders introduced Niva Retimanu to us.

Niva was talking to us about her how old she was when she started doing the news report. Niva started the the news report at the age of 18 years old. After Niva talked about a little bit of her job, she took out a book and read that book which wa called c ‘Kiss Kiss Yuck! Yuck.!’ to all of Glenbrae. Niva then was called up to give out the duffy books to 7 classrooms.

.After Giving out the Duffy books Luisa then thanked Niva. When she finished saying thank you, we all sang the duffy song.

After Singing the Duffy Song it was time for Niva to go and after she left we got dismissed by Mrs Raj.
