Writing (Pt.2) - Holiday Home Learning
Recounts are awesome. Your experiences can
be told in words to capture your readers and
take them on a journey with you.

Task - Write a recount about the worst birthday
you have ever had. I’ve never had a bad Birthday yet.
you have ever had. I’ve never had a bad Birthday yet.
Speech writing is a very valuable skill.
When you have the ability to write speeches you can argue
your way through your words. Lawyers do that all the time.

Task - Write a one minute speech about one of these topics
- Teachers should be paid more money
and they deserve that amount of money they want because,
they work 5 times a week and they also spent their own money
on students with no school supplies and that are going through
problems. Teachers deserve more money, they don't deserve
what the government are doing, adding more to their basket.
Teaches go to work to teach students, not deal with silly
issues and not get told to do more work.
“They need the money.”
- We should have a McDonald restaurant at every school
We need to train ourselves to be healthy and fit. On the other hand,we also can’t have a Mcdonald restaurant at every
school because that's a lot of work for builders and
also, it’s going to become a distraction to the students learning.
Maybe we should just stick with students bringing their own
lunch from home or ordering something at school.
Maybe, Maybe not. Driving skills can be taught at Primary to get
students ready for the future if they want to drive, But it should be
in a specific class that are interested in learning driving school.
On the other hand, Driving skills being taught to students at the
age of 5 - 13 is going to get them into driving really soon, and the
next thing you know is that students are driving wildly around
the streets without license. So, if it was to be taught at primary
schools it should be for seniors only. (age: 10+)
I totally disagree with this. Glenbrae is a School and needs to be
recognized by people and if we have no uniform how are people
going to know what school we belong to. Glenbrae School is a
school, A school that should be recognized out in public,
and also if we are lost somewhere they people can
always google Glenbrae and contact the school and tell them
about a student from Glenbrae wondering around and is lost.
This can be a good idea but at the same time they are missing
out 6 hours of learning a day, imagine a whole week without
even showing up at school, that's 30 hours of learning time '
being wasted.Unless, It’s urgent then they can but also
catch up with their learning at home with their supervisors,
parents, siblings and caregivers. Having a day off isn’t just
to stay home and relax, but to also catch up on the
learning you’ve missed out on during the week.
