He has some 5g weights and some 7g weights.
Can he weigh exactly 38g of pills?
38 is not exactly divisible by 5 or 7. Hence both 5g and 7g weights are needed. 38 – 7 = 31, 38 – 2 x 7 = 24, and 38 – 3 x 7 = 17 are not divisible by 5. However, 38 – 4 x 7 = 10 = 2 x 5. So Dr Martin can use four 7g weights and two 5g weights.
2. On Monday, Sam, Sonny and Sylvia share lollies that
they've been given. Sonny has been given twice as many lollies as Sam, and Sylvia has three
times as many lollies as Sam plus two lollies.
They are given the same number of lollies each day up to (and including) Friday.
Altogether, they are given 70 lollies.
How many lollies did Sam get on Monday?

How are we 90% identical to the ape and monkey family?
Humans, apes and the monkey family have so many things in common. We also share 96% of our DNA with them because of the similarities we have in common. One thing scientist have picked out is the fact that two humans scrolls fused, leaving us with 23 pairs of chromosomes to apes 24. The unpacking of the human and apes letter comparison turned out to be 98.77% identical. (Theres more information online and in books based about life.)
True or false. The first living things originated from single
cells found on land.
What does the word DNA stand for?

The Best Bear in All the World (Chapter 1 - Autumn)
|
I read about Christopher Robin, Pooh, Piglet, Owl, Kang, Tiger, Eeyone and Rabbit,. This chapter was mainly about Pooh and the others going undercover to see if the fire breathing dragon was real or they were just seeing things in their dreams. Pooh and Piglet walked along a path together until they came across something shaped as a dragon...Pooh went to check it out while Piglet walked straight towards Owl’s house. At Owl’s house Piglet and Owl discussed that the fire breathing dragon is real, but not has been seen. While Piglet was with Owl, Pooh, Rabbit and Eeyone found something underground.
